Information on transportation is an important part of a visitor’s trip to the Niagara Falls. There are many ways to get to The Falls and there are also numerous ways to sightsee within the area, from one attraction to another. The Niagara Falls Transit is a public transportation service in Ontario. The service offers passengers 10 routes, across several stops such as Thorold Stone, Square-Montrose, Stamford, Woodbine, Chippawa /Crosstown, the hospital, etc.
Other transportations within Niagara include taxi service, buses, as well as rented cars and Chair-A-Van (a special service for people unable to use other means). Travelers outside of The Falls wanting to enter can choose to go by air. Visitors can fly to USA’s Buffalo Airport (domestic) in New York or Canada’s Lester Pearson International Airport. Airports offer shuttle services directly to Niagara Falls: the Niagara Airbus in Toronto, and the Airport Shuttle Service in Buffalo.
Tourists who prefer train rides can visit Horseshoe Falls by riding on Canada’s VIA Rail or Go Transit, or the American Falls on AMTRAK. Visitors choosing to travel by bus have a variety, from public transportation to shuttle companies. Niagara Falls Transit, Canada is situated at 4555 Erie Avenue. The New York bus terminal is at 343 4th Street.
